| makeissue.pl is a perl script to run at boot time to put interesting info in /etc/issue and /etc/issue.net instead of the boring issue files that most distributions ship. It should support x86, sparc, alpha and basically displays hardware info e.g. architecture, CPU speed, SMP support, etc. |
