Application: Litestream Litestream is a fully scalable high-capacity MP3 streaming server software for UNIX. Tests on a Pentium II 400 single processor have demonstrated that the system is capable of supporting at least 4000 simultaneous 56 Kbit streams (244 Mbit/node). The Litestream server is single-threaded, single-process, scales through wide clusters, and is tiny and optimized.
