Following some comments here I entered Boot section in BIOS setup and change Fast Boot from 'Disable Link' to 'Enabled'. Rebooted, dropped power using the switch on PC back panel and tested games. Everything worked OK. Seems like a solution.

After every power outage (got many of them here) my pc refuses to display Windows games properly (specifically in this case - ELEX under steam). When starting the game it displays the main menu, but when entering the game the screen goes black. It happenes on other Windows game running...

Parent folder permissions:

Not sure why owner is root, though. These files and folders created on this drive under normal user permissions.

Doing touch filename, when the file is on a network drive, works fine. touch -m filename, however, doesn't work, and an error message says Operation not permitted. Same with other variants, like touch -t.
Any clues on how to solve this?

OK, I see now that the owner of everything under /mnt/data is my user, while under /mnt/nas is root. I created a test folder under /mnt/nas and then:
sudo chown myuser /mnt/nas/test
No error message, but the owner of the test folder didn't change and it is still root.

cp --preserve=timestamps ~/MyNotes/filename /mnt/nas/Temp/filename
