Are you using Private AI yet?

I've used AI to write a few articles that I'd have otherwise not written well. They came out 'okay'. I think it's a better result when I use AI to help with the article rather than write the article.

How to get started with linux on a M1 Pro mac.

    I'd just try this: https://asahilinux.org/fedora/

    KDE Winner?

I've found myself preferring Sauron over Dark Reader lately, for those who are curious. It seems to work better with fewer 'weird' results.

    Today's thread is intentionally short...

If you're unaware, and want a blast from the past, we still have 'mc' available. https://midnight-commander.org/ It's a homage to 'nc' that has existed for quite a while. One of these days, I'll do an article on the subject.

Today's article might seem a bit contrarian...

I actually "need" to buy a laptop for Windows use. I have some music gear that can only be "properly" controlled with Windows or a Mac. Of course, I've had the gear for a couple of years and still haven't picked up said laptop. I can control the device on a tiny LED and have done that for the...

    Covid Corner

There were some bumps along the road, but we managed. There was some drama at times but we nipped it in the bud. I dimly recall a ban or two along the way, or maybe just vacations. Don't quote me on that, however. I do a good job at forgetting. This is for my own sanity as well as to keep me...

Today's article might seem a bit contrarian...

It's all good. I'm not easily offended. Hmm... Someone has to have installed Linux on a VCR by now. With today's 'smart devices', you could really have a toaster that runs Linux. (There are some pretty fancy toasters at outlandish prices.)

    Today's thread is intentionally short...

Yeah, the halt command is pretty old and from Unix - back when you'd halt the system to do things like add new hardware. I think it goes back as far as the vacuum tube days.

HOW TO INSTALL PYGPT ON LINUX?

Was your command actually "~/.local/bin/pygpt~"? If so, remove the tilde. If not, I have no idea what's broken on your system - but I doubt it's apt.

Epson printer drivers and many others. Could be helpful for some on here.

Don't go replying to threads that are old. They've solved their problem or moved on. Dredging up old posts is just bad form. So, don't do that. Thanks.

What's your motivation for pushing this software?

Help to choiche a distro Linux

https://www.linux.org/threads/help-for-choiche-a-good-linux-distro-for-amd-cpu.49981/ Use that thread. There's no need to double post. This thread is locked.

HOW TO INSTALL PYGPT ON LINUX?

See? You do have /.local/bin. And you do have PyGPT in that directory. Let's try this one more time... Run this command: ~/.local/bin/pygpt Share the output from that command. It looks like PyGTP is installed.

    bad gateway error 502

It's pretty much that we have crappy hosting underneath all of this, I'm pretty sure.

HOW TO INSTALL PYGPT ON LINUX?

I can't even begin to speculate. I would say that, even if you get this installed, you're looking at a system that's fundamentally broken. When commands like ls -la ~/.local fail to work properly, there's something fundamentally broken with your system. That shouldn't throw an error. It should...
